Welcome to Christ the Servant

Christ the Servant (CTS) Lutheran Church was founded as a mission congregation of the American Lutheran Church (ALC) with its first worship service on Nov. 21, 1976. Our chartering meeting was held on Jan. 19, 1977, with 96 charter members. On June 18, 1978, Christ the Servant moved into its current building.  On January 1, 1988, CTS joined the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) as a result of a merger of three Lutheran denominations. In October 1991, CTS dedicated its new addition to meet our growing needs.

On May 2, 2010, CTS congregation members voted to leave the ELCA synod and join LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ).
